The History
Built in 1892 for Civil War veteran and entrepreneur Spencer E. Davis, the Moore House is one of Kenwood's earliest homes. Designed by prominent local architect Edward S. Stebbins, the classic Queen Anne Victorian features an iconic tower with stained-glass windows and a welcoming front porch.
The home earned a place in American television history as the exterior filming location for the Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970–1977), appearing in the opening credits as Mary's Minneapolis address.
